It's a wrap! First Fintech networking meetup

Late September might have seemed like a bad idea when we started planning our first networking event back in June! However, it turned out to be perfect timing, coinciding with confidence returning for travel into the city, and of course, great weather! 

Creating lasting connections across Capital Markets

So why did we choose to run this event now? We've long felt that it's important to champion the Fintech ecosystem, there is so much innovation in our community that we need to showcase the best of what the UK has to offer at every opportunity. Given the nature of ipushpull, we naturally interplay with providers of complementary services, together, we can facilitate connections and rich dialogue across the capital markets sector.

Giving back, helping young people into work

The pandemic has shown us that, as businesses and people, we need to be able to adapt readily to changing circumstances. However, not every section of society has been able to do this without help. We've seen the young, and especially socially deprived groups, suffer due to the pandemic. At the same time, our industry needs to be doing more to champion diversity, looking to recruit from a wider talent pool than today. This is why we have chosen to partner with Work in Fintech and UKBlackTech to provide learning and work experience opportunities in our sector.
