Ideal Candidate

-Front office domain expertise (trading or broking), minimum experience of 3 years.

-Experience working in a small, fast-growing tech company or startup (ideally in capital markets/fintech). 

-Proven track record of B2B/enterprise sales, sales process and a large network of contacts. 

-Tech-savvy. 

-Team player. 

-Growth mindset/coachable. 


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will: 

Drive Sales Pipeline Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities, leveraging your network and industry insights to cultivate a strong sales pipeline.  

Develop Strategic Client Relationships: Establish and maintain essential relationships, ensuring durable, mutually beneficial partnerships which will lead to further sales.  

Execute Commercial Strategies: Design and negotiate persuasive commercial proposals, effectively manage client interactions to close deals and achieve sales objectives.  

Champion ipushpull Solutions: Clearly articulate the advantages of our platform and services, providing customized solutions to meet client needs. 


Desired Traits and Skills 

Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of financial and/or commodities markets, knowledge of OTC instruments/derivatives/structured products is a must and trading/broking experience is considered an advantage. 

Proven Sales Expertise Ideally a minimum 3-5 years in SaaS, fintech, or capital markets/commodities tech/consulting sales, with a history of hitting targets and securing significant deals of £100k+ and are adept at meeting and exceeding sales targets, ideally following the MEDDIC sales methodology (or similar). 

Technological Proficiency: A strong understanding of technology, including data, cloud services, AI, and the capital markets ecosystem, enabling you to fully understand and represent our software platform, integrations and our solutions. 

Relationship Building: Outstanding interpersonal skills to establish rapport and cultivate profitable client relationships. 

Results-Driven: Demonstrated capability to deliver in a dynamic sales environment, with a commitment to achieving sales goals. 

Extreme Ownership: A self-starter, collaboratively minded, with a proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, ensuring accountability at every step. 

Growth Mindset: An innovative problem solver, open to challenges, is coachable and continually seeking improvement. 

Team Player: Every sale is a team effort so being open and collaborative with senior members of the team is vital to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised.  


Requirements 

-A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.  

-Embraces tools to enhance sales productivity including CRM (preferably Hubspot), lead gen and outreach tools, social selling (LinkedIn), AI tools, adopting a process-oriented approach to sales. 

-Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 

-The ability to independently manage the sales cycle, thriving in a startup setting.

Location and Travel 

This is a full-time position for candidates within commuting distance of Central London.  We have a hybrid working policy however the nature of sales means you will be required to meet customers on a regular basis in Central London. There may be occasional travel to Europe or the US on an ad hoc basis.
