Technical Sales Manager Job Description

Working closely with sales and product teams and sometimes directly with the dev team you will create solutions for customers using the ipushpull platform. You will be customer facing and enjoy finding simple solutions to complex challenges.


Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with customer and prospects showing them the ‘art of the possible’ and building rapid prototypes to help progress the sales cycle
  • Understand the customer and be able to demonstrate the right workflows and apps that have been built on the platform
  • Turn conversations into proposals, scope definitions, milestones and business requirements
  • Confidently handle questions spanning everything from use cases to technology infrastructure
  • Create reusable demos, video and collateral to striving for sales efficiency
  • Be a voice of the company internally and externally

Experience and Skills

The right candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, organised, delivery-focused and have the following experience and skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, technical sales, pre-sales, solution engineering at a capital markets/fintech/enterprise SaaS or 10+ years of experience working on the buy side/sell side in a front office role and has a passion for tech
  • Technical background – You need to be tech savvy and passionate about future trends with an understanding in the principles of web and cloud technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (preferable), ideally experience in building apps using no/low code platforms
  • Experience or knowledge of workflow in one or more asset classes; fixed income, equities, FX, commodities, OTC derivs
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting virtually and in-person to individuals, groups and conferences
  • Self motivated, intellectually curious, organised and high EQ
  • Proven track record of beating sales targets and experience succeeding in a goal-driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or above
